Captain Ahab’s Motorcycle Club was created by filmmaker/musician Cory McAbee. The club was established in 2012 by McAbee and filmmaker/documentarian Gregory Bayne. It is a national and international collaborative, a club and a production studio.
The C.A.M.C. “music department” features an open library of songs written by McAbee. All tracks are available for free download. Additional tracks and mixes are generated and posted by club members. Anyone can be a member. McAbee will perform live to various selections of your mixes. Members are also welcome to use this material. Free distribution is encouraged, sales are prohibited.
Cory McAbee is best known as writer/director of The American Astronaut (2001), Stingray Sam (2010), Crazy and Thief (2012), and as singer/songwriter of the musical group, The Billy Nayer Show (1989-2011). As C.A.M.C. music and performances continue to evolve a body of work created by illustrators and graphic designers will develop in conjunction.
As these departments develop other departments in other areas will be introduced. The end result will be a feature film, written & directed by McAbee, produced by Bayne and created by C.A.M.C. This film will be distributed for free. Any profits will be given to charity.
We invite you to be part of Captain Ahab’s Motorcycle Club. Participation will take place at live events and online @ www.captainahabsmotorcycleclub.com. Welcome to the club.
