New York Night Train DJ Mr. Jonathan Toubin talks about his accident for the first time to Rolling Stone

Our beloved friend and Dj Mr. Jonathan Toubin has been released from the hospital and is currently recovering in Portland, OR after being hit by taxicab in his hotel room while sleeping this past Dec 8, 2011. The tragic accident created a movement of human compassion and kindness that has touched us all. Thousands of people have come together to support Jonathan in his time of need including artists like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jon Spencer, Neil Hamburger, Ty Segall, Bleached, and Margaret Cho performing at benefits to raise money on his behalf.
Jonathan recently spoke to
Rolling Stone about his experience post the accident. Jonathan has an incredible energy that brings people together both in his regular day to day life and on the dance floor. He’s brought an amazing presence and refreshing creative force to our agency. He lives like he DJs—pushing the EQ and volume to its limit, fully defining “maximum rock and soul.” We are excited to hear that he’s on the road to recovery and look forward to announcing future New York Night Train events.
