Mac DeMarco’s new mini-album Another One is out August 7 via Captured Tracks. We’ve already heard the title track and “The Way You’d Love Her”, and now he’s let go of “I’ve Been Waiting For Her”.
The 4th of July just ended, but that’s no reason to not throw another cookout. To help, Mac DeMarco has just shared Some Other Ones, a collection of instrumental recordings he’s billed as his “BBQ soundtrack.” It features songs such as “Little Pepper” and “Onion Man”, and was recorded from July 4-8 in Queens, New York.
Canadian jangle-pop oddball Mac DeMarco is set to serve up a mini-LP titled Another One next month, but before the eight-song set officially arrives, he’ll be serving up hotdogs and previewing the forthcoming release at a barbecue this afternoon.
